  8. It was my spiritual place, my inspiration. I cannot express my sadness. Dear Notre Dame, salut de Croatie.
But I know that my Savior lives, and at the end he will stand on this earth. My flesh may be destroyed, yet from this body I will see God.

  20. Although ND will likely be used for worship once again it will not be for many years. And it will never be the same. The organs both gone along with much of the interior although it is understood that many of the artworks were saved. God bless all the staff and clergy of Notre Dame and all Parisiens on this awful day for all citizens, whether religious or not.

  22. My prayers are with the people of Paris, especially the Cathedral faith community. I pray, in a special way, for the cathedral musicians. For this to happen, particularly during Holy Week, is unthinkable. It is heartbreaking. Best wishes from a Catholic church musician in Michigan, USA. God bless you all!

  24. It doesn't look like a Catholic Officium. Was it a protestant meeting in the Cathedral just before the fire?

  25. I'm so glad this was filmed. To see all that has now been lost, so quickly following this service… Kyrie eleison! Thankful for the saving of the relics and much of the artworks, and the structure. But to lose so much! 😭

  28. "Quand nous tombons, donne nous de reprendre vie" par la FOI EN CHRIST, et non simplement par l'attachement à un bâtiment, évidemment important, mais qui ne porte pas le salut en lui, s'il n'y a pas la foi. C'est mon souhait pour les français. Que les flèches d'orgueil soient toutes brulées en la présence de l'amour du Dieu de Jésus Christ Notre Seigneur.
